Jose Garcia, DDS, MS
Dr. Jose Garcia began his academic journey by earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, where he was an NAIA Academic All-American in tennis. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1997 and completed a General Practice Residency from Indiana University Hospital in 1998. After one year of private practice in general dentistry, Dr. Garcia was accepted into the highly competitive orthodontic post-doctoral program at Saint Louis University, which is considered the birthplace of modern orthodontics. During his residency, Dr. Garcia was elected class president and earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry in 2001. Prior to partnering with Dr. Smith in 2005, Dr. Garcia practiced orthodontics in Indianapolis, Indiana, and in San Diego, California.
Dr. Garcia is an Invisalign® Certified Provider, has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics, attends continuing education courses in orthodontics and related fields throughout the year, and intends to continue to maintain the practice at the cutting edge of orthodontic technique.

Outside the Office
Dr. Garcia lives in Temecula with his wife, Tanya, and sons, Victor and Roberto. In his spare time, Dr. Garcia enjoys playing golf, tennis, skiing, rollerblading, attending live events, and discussing orthodontics with his father, who is also an orthodontist.
